ABSA Bank Zambia has recorded a profit before tax of 1.9 billion Kwacha, the highest in the banking sector.
The bank also contributed 614 million Kwacha in taxes to the treasury which was also the highest in the banking sector.
Commenting on the results, Bank Managing Director Mizinga Melu paid tribute to the bank’s customers for their unwavering support and loyalty to the Bank.
She also thanked members of staff for driving the business to achieving such phenomenal results adding that the development is a positive endorsement of Zambian manpower’s ability.
This is according to a statement issued by the bank in Lusaka today.
