LUMEZI legislator Munir Zulu failed to appear in court today in case he is accused of uttering words showing hatred on grounds that he is sick.
Sinda Member of Parliament Masauso Tmbo informed the court that Mr Zulu was sick at home.
Mr Tembo, as a surety to the accused, also presented a sick note to Lusaka Magistrate Amy Masoja.
On account of the accused’s sickness, the magistrate adjourned the case to August 4 after the prosecution team told the court to give Mr Zulu a benefit of doubt.
