POLICE in North-Western province have launched a manhunt for a Grade 12 school leaver who allegedly sexually abused his 14-year-old girlfriend.
The ‘victim’ , who is a grade eight pupil at a named school is believed to have left home on July 3rd, this year and returned home the next day on July 4th around 05:00 hours.
Upon returning home, her worried parents asked her where she had slept, of which she revealed that she had slept at her boyfriend, Mesele Fenny’s house.
North-Western province commanding officer Dennis Moola who confirmed the report of defilement to Mwebantu said it occurred between Monday, July 3rd around 23:00 hours and Tuesday, July 4th around 05:00 hours.
He said the incident was reported by the ‘victim’s’ mother, who is a teacher.
Mr Moola explained that the alleged defilement occurred inside the suspects house.
“Brief facts of the case are that on the material date, the minor moved out of the house around 23:00 hours to an unknown place. During the same night the parents discovered that their daughter was not around. She came back around 05:00 hours the following day,” he said.
Mr Moola said after being asked where she had slept, she revealed that she went to her boyfriends house.
