CHOMBA YUMBE BIDS FAREWELL TO ZNBC AFTER 33 YEARS OF SERVICE

Long-serving ZNBC Senior Cameraman Chomba Yumbe has retired from the Corporation after 33 years of service.
His 33 years with ZNBC has seen him work and travel the world with all 7 Presidents that have Governed Zambia.
At the time of his retirement, Yumbe was Senior Cameraperson whose responsibility was to allocate and assignment camera persons to work with reporters and producers.
He is one of the longest serving employees of the Corporation.
Yumbe’s retirement was announced on set right after shooting his last 19:00hrs Main News last evening.
His daughter and son presented a cake to him.
ZNBC News anchors, Raphael Kumwenda and Mary Mwiikisa could not hold their joy having worked with Mr. Yumbe for many years.
The two colleagues gave Yumbe a farewell hug and wished him well in his retirement.
