UNKNOWN criminals in Mufulira have broken into St Peter’s Catholic Church where they stole a case of fruit juice and water among other valuables.
In a matter reported to the police on Thursday, the suspected criminals also stole two cordless microphones and one amplifier.
“Unknown criminals broke into St Peter’s Catholic Church on May 18,2023 and stole two cordless microphones, one amplifier, one case of fruit drink and one case of water all valued at K5,117. The matter was reported to Mufulira Central Police Station,” said Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba.
Mr Mweemba said investigations have been instituted and no recoveries or arrests have been made yet.
