THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has banned Nkana Football Club from playing home matches at their favoured Nkana Stadium in Kitwe’s Wusakile area for the 2023/24 season.
The ban has been imposed following crowd trouble that ensued during the Kitwe derby at Arthur Davies Stadium in April 2023.
The FAZ disciplinary committee ordered that Nkana’s home matches be played 60 kilometers away from Kitwe.
This means that Nkana will have to find a new home stadium for the upcoming season.
