CHIPOLOPOLO star Kings Kangwa yesterday added another medal to his cabinet after his Serbian side Red Star Belgrade won the League Cup following a 2-1 win over FK Cukaricki.
Having already won the League, Belgrade were looking to complete a double by taking home the domestic cup.
Kangwa started the match on the bench before coming on 30 minutes from time when his side were trailing by a goal.
The nimble footed attacker made his first contribution a minute later, teeing a pass to Aleksandar Pesic who scored to level the score.
14 minutes from time. Pesic powered Belgrade in the lead, completing his brace and guaranteeing gold for his side.
Kangwa joined Belgrade this season from Russian side Arsenal Tula.
He has gone on to play 45 matches in all competitions, scoring 12 goals in the process
He took to Facebook to celebrate his achievement.
“League cup champions, Thank God,” Kangwa wrote.
