The Ministry of Education Education has closed Kapiri Girls Technical Secondary School.
This follows another report of a third fire at the same school since Sunday 14th May 2022.
Announcing the closure this morning, Education Minister Douglas Syakalima has said the closure is necessary to ensure that both the parents and their children are relieved of the stress the infernos have caused.
The Minister has since sent a strong warning to anyone who will be found to be behind the fires, saying the law will catch up with them soon.
Mr Syakalima has since assured the parents and school management that police are actively investigating the matter and that perpetrators will soon be brought to book.
