ANOTHER marital dispute has ended tragically after a father’s failure to control himself has led to the death or his one month old baby.
Erick Ntembeni is believed to have during an argument with his wife , Sarah Ntembeni kicked her leading her to fall on their baby that she was carrying on her back.
North-Western province commanding officer Dennis Moola who confirmed the sad incident to Mwebantu said that the couple were both in a drunken state during the dispute.
Mr Moola said the incident occurred on Sunday between 11:00 hours and 18:00 hours.
“Brief facts are that on May 21st, this year at about 10:00 hours the suspect was arguing and flighting with his wife who had a baby on her back. Both parents where drunk as they had been drinking illicit beer commonly known as Kachasu. In the process of fighting, the suspect kicked the wife and the baby fell to the ground, including its mother who also fell on top of the baby,” he said.
He said the he elder brother to the baby quickly picked him up from the floor as he was crying adding that when the baby was rushed to hospital, he was pronounced dead.
