Beatrice Mumbi Mulanshi, a former student of the University of Zambia (UNZA) who graduated from the School of humanities and social sciences. Her journey to success is truly inspiring and a testament to the power of hard work and determination.
Growing up in the villages of Kabwe, Beatrice faced numerous challenges, including the lack of financial resources to pay for her education. However, she refused to let these obstacles hold her back and decided to start a business selling scones to raise money for her secondary school education while doing this business the Catholic Church played a big role by helping Her, her venture was a success, and she was able to complete grade 12 in 2012.
When FAWAZ sponsored her to study at UNZA for one year, she was determined to make the most of the opportunity. However, after the sponsorship ended, Beatrice couldn’t give up her dream of completing her education. She continued to sell different items, including freezits and sausages, while still running her scone business to finance her studies. Her unwavering dedication paid off, and she successfully graduated from UNZA with a degree in public Administration.
Even after securing a job, Beatrice continued to run her scone business, which helped her support people around her and orphans in her community. She’s now an advocate for young girls, encouraging them never to give up on their dreams and to use their talents to support themselves and achieve their educational goals.
Through her hard work and determination, Beatrice has become a shining example of what can be achieved with perseverance and a can-do attitude. Her scone business, now known as.THE PRESTIGIOUS BEATRICE has become a testament to her resilience and success.
