ACTING on the recommendation of the Judicial Complaints Commission, President Hakainde Hichilema has with immediate effect removed suspended High Court judge Wilfred Muma from office.
According to a statement issued by State House chief communication specialist Clayson Hamasaka, the removal of the said puisne Judge is in exercise of the powers vested in the President in Article 143 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
“President Hakainde Hichilema has, acting on the recommendation in the report presented to him by the Judicial Complaints Commission, removed Judge Wilfred Kopa Muma from the office of judge of the High Court for Zambia with immediate effect,” Mr Hamasaka said.
