A TRADITIONAL healer only identified as Doctor Salapo of Mandevu Compound has given Lusaka police officers a job to hunt for him after he was yesterday reported of obtaining goods by false pretense by a man who trusted him yo cure his son of mental illness.
Despite Zambia being a Christian Nation, the client aged 61 is said to have needed some traditional solutions of his son’s mental condition and opted to find solutions from the traditional doctor.
Since he had no money to pay, he was asked to surrender his motor vehicle together with the white book as surety before the commencement of treatment.
The desperate father handed over the vehicle as instructed but the juju man reved off to a neighbouring country without even attending to the boy.
The conventional Dr Salapo who fraudulently obtained a Toyota Prado Valued at K137, 000 is believed to have fled to one of the neighboring countries to begin a new life as a car owner.
Zambia Police Service assistant public relations officer Godfrey Chilabi has confirmed the incident in a statement to Kalemba.
